Storage and Pro

See how much account storage your games and saves use, clear space, and manage your Rebit plan.

Open Storage

Open Profile > Settings > Storage. The page shows usage, your plan's storage limit, a breakdown by file type, and plan features.

What Uses Storage

Account storage includes ROM files, imported games, manual and automatic saves, in-game saves, screenshots, and profile banners. Large disk-based games and many save states can use substantial space.

Clean Up Storage

  1. Check the breakdown in Storage.
  2. Download backups of anything you want to keep.
  3. Delete unwanted games from Game Details.
  4. Remove old screenshots and saves.
  5. Reduce Max Auto Saves in save settings if autosaves accumulate quickly.

Deleting a game also removes related saves and screenshots, so back up progress first.

Download Before Deleting

Use Download ROM File on a game page and the download action beside an individual save. For multi-file games and bundled saves, keep all files needed to restore them.

Upgrade to Pro

Open Settings > Subscription, or use Upgrade to Pro on your profile. Review the plan features and available billing periods, then follow the checkout offered for your platform.

Pro features include additional storage, profile customization, and more Pokémon trainer profile registrations. The app's plan page shows the current benefits and limits. Check the checkout price and renewal terms; store and regional prices can differ.

Manage or Restore a Subscription

Use Settings > Subscription to check your current plan and available management actions. Manage renewal or cancellation through the billing service or app store used for the purchase.

In an installed app, Restore purchases can restore an existing eligible store purchase. Sign in to the intended Rebit account and the store account used for the purchase before restoring.

ROM Cache Is Different

The local ROM cache helps games load faster on the current device. It is separate from account storage and is managed automatically; the current Settings menu has no standalone ROM Cache cleanup page.

Clearing local data does not free cloud storage. It can also remove device-only data, including Amiga BIOS files and pending replay uploads. Finish saves and uploads before clearing site or app data.

Storage Troubleshooting

  • An upload or save fails: check the storage limit and connection before retrying.
  • Autosaves use too much space: keep fewer autosaves and delete older ones you no longer need.
  • Pro is missing after purchase: check the signed-in account, subscription status, and restore option before purchasing again.
