Pokémon Trainer Profiles
Turn a supported Pokémon in-game save into a trainer profile showing your party, badges, Pokédex progress, and more.
Supported Games
Open Settings > Pokémon trainer profiles to see the current catalog and which games in your library match. Support depends on the exact game release, not its filename or display name.
The supported catalog includes these releases:
| Game | Supported release |
|---|---|
| Pokémon Elite Redux | 2.65.3b |
| Pokémon Unbound | 2.1.1.1 |
| Pokémon Emerald | 1.0, including the supported German release |
| Pokémon FireRed | 1.1 |
| Pokémon LeafGreen | 1.1 |
| Pokémon Quetzal | 0.8.4; Alpha 9.0 English and Portuguese BR |
A different patch, language, or revision may not match even when it has the same title. The catalog in the app shows the releases you can register.
Create a Trainer Profile
- Add a supported game to your library.
- Save inside the game and use Export In-Game Save so the save is stored in Rebit.
- Open Settings > Pokémon trainer profiles.
- Select Register for the Pokémon game and choose the matching copy in your library.
- Select Update data.
- Choose the in-game save you want Rebit to read.
- Wait for the analysis, then open your trainer profile.
Use an In-game save, not an emulator save state. Registering a game alone does not analyze its progress.
Update Your Progress
After playing, save in the game and export again. Select Update data to choose a newer save when you want the profile refreshed immediately. Rebit also checks registered profiles daily for newer in-game saves.
The profile shows the last analyzed progress, which can be older than your current game. If analysis fails, Rebit keeps the last successful profile snapshot.
Depending on the game, the page shows trainer identity, party members and levels, badges, playtime, money, Pokédex counts, and difficulty. Supported link-battle results may also appear. Battle recording has its own compatibility limits; a supported trainer profile does not mean every battle will be recorded.
Share and Browse Trainers
Your analyzed trainer profiles appear on your Rebit profile. Other signed-in users can also find eligible profiles through Discover > Pokémon Trainers and filter the directory by game.
Turn on Settings > Privacy > Private library to hide your trainer profiles from other users and the directory. Account blocks also affect visibility. See Privacy and Safety.
Limits and Removing a Profile
Free accounts can register two trainer profiles. Pro allows unlimited registrations within the supported catalog. Each account can register one profile per catalog game.
Select Unregister to remove a trainer profile and free its slot. This keeps your library game and saves. Registering a different library copy for that profile clears its previous snapshot until you analyze a save from the new copy.
Troubleshooting
- No matching game: upload the exact supported release shown in the catalog. Renaming a ROM does not change its compatibility.
- No saves to choose: save in the game, export it to Rebit, and check the game's In-game saves.
- Analysis fails: try a known working in-game save for the registered release.
- Old party or badges: use Update data and choose your latest exported save.
- Friends cannot see the profile: check that analysis succeeded and your library is public.
