Nintendo DS Cloud Rooms
Nintendo DS Cloud Rooms let 2, 3, or 4 players join a compatible Nintendo DS multiplayer game from their own devices. Each player uses their own Nintendo DS game from their Rebit library, and Rebit prepares a cloud stream for each player when the room is ready.
Before You Start
- Cloud Rooms only appear for Nintendo DS games.
- Every player needs a Nintendo DS ROM in their own Rebit library before joining.
- For best results, everyone should use the same game and ROM revision.
- Save inside the game before starting if you want your latest in-game progress available in the room.
- Use strong Wi-Fi when possible, and keep every game tab open.
- Not every Nintendo DS game has multiplayer. After the cloud stream starts, use the game's own multiplayer or local wireless menu.
- Use GBA Link Cable for Game Boy Advance games with link cable features.
- Use Remote Controller if one phone should only act as a controller.
Host a Nintendo DS Cloud Room
- Start a Nintendo DS game from your library.
- Tap the in-game menu button.
- Tap Netplay.
- Choose the number of Players.
- Tap Start Host.
- Wait for Rebit to create the room.
- Copy the Room ID.
- Send the Room ID to the other players.
The host is Player 1. The room stays in the normal Netplay room list so friends can join from the room code, the Netplay page, or Discover.

Join by Room ID
- Make sure the Nintendo DS game is already in your library.
- Start the game you want to use.
- Tap the in-game menu button.
- Tap Netplay.
- Enter the Room ID from the host.
- Tap Join Room.
- Wait while Rebit prepares your player stream.
If Rebit asks you to choose an NDS game, pick the game from your library. A matching ROM is best when Rebit can identify one.

Join from Netplay or Discover
- Open the Netplay page or the active rooms area in Discover.
- Find a room marked as a Nintendo DS room.
- Tap Join.
- Choose a Nintendo DS game from your library.
- Wait for the cloud stream to connect.
If you do not have a Nintendo DS game in your library, upload one first.

Start Playing Together
When every required player has joined, Rebit prepares the cloud room and opens a stream for each player. Touch controls, keyboard controls, and supported gamepads use your normal Rebit control settings.
Once the game is running, use the Nintendo DS game's own multiplayer menu to connect players. Some games call this local wireless, multiplayer, battle, trade, or download play.
Save After a Cloud Room
Nintendo DS Cloud Rooms use each player's latest in-game save. If Rebit cannot find an in-game save for a player, that player starts with a blank save.
To keep new progress after playing:
- Save inside the Nintendo DS game first.
- Open the in-game menu.
- Tap Export In-Game Save.
- Wait for Rebit to show Cloud save uploaded or Cloud save unchanged.
This saves the game's own in-game save, not a regular save state.
Leave a Cloud Room
- Tell the other players before leaving, especially before trading, battling, or saving inside the game.
- If one player disconnects, the room may stay available, but the game itself may wait for the missing player.
- If the session feels stuck after someone leaves, create a fresh room and rejoin together.
Nintendo DS Cloud Room Troubleshooting
- If Start Host does not create a cloud room, confirm the game system is Nintendo DS.
- If joining asks for an NDS game, upload a Nintendo DS ROM to your library first.
- If joining fails, check the Room ID and ask the host to copy it again.
- If Rebit shows the room is waiting, make sure every required player has joined.
- If players cannot find each other inside the game, confirm the game supports local Nintendo DS multiplayer and that everyone is using a compatible game version.
- If the stream fails to connect, refresh the game tab, close unused tabs, and try again on stable Wi-Fi.
- If cloud capacity is full, wait a moment and start a fresh room.
- If your save did not update, save inside the game first, then tap Export In-Game Save before leaving.
