Saves, Screenshots, and Cheats

Save Types

Rebit uses three helpful save types:

• Manual save state: Saves the exact moment you are playing.
• Auto save state: Rebit creates these for you while you play, if auto save is on.
• In-game save: A game's own save file, often used by games with battery saves or save menus.

Create a Manual Save State

1. Start a game.
2. Tap the in-game menu button.
3. Tap Save State.
4. Wait for the save confirmation.

Load a Save

1. Start the game.
2. Tap the in-game menu button.
3. Tap Open Saves.
4. Choose Manual, Auto, or In-game.
5. Tap the save you want to load.

Upload an In-Game Save File

Use this if you already have a .srm or .sav file from another emulator.

1. Start the game.
2. Tap the in-game menu button.
3. Tap Open Saves.
4. Tap In-game.
5. Tap Upload Save File.
6. Choose your .srm or .sav file.

Export an In-Game Save

Some games have their own save menu. For those games:

1. Save inside the game first.
2. Open the in-game menu.
3. Tap Export In-Game Save.
4. If Rebit shows a reminder, tap Continue.

Download or Delete a Save

1. Open Save States.
2. Find the save you want.
3. Tap the download option to keep a copy on your phone.
4. Tap the delete option only if you no longer need it.

Turn Auto Save On or Off

1. Start a game.
2. Open the in-game menu.
3. Tap Saves.
4. Turn Enable Auto Save on or off.
5. Choose an Auto Save Interval.
6. Choose Max Auto Saves.

Take a Screenshot

1. Start a game.
2. Get to the moment you want to capture.
3. Tap the in-game menu button.
4. Tap Screenshot.
5. Rebit saves the screenshot to the game details page.

View Screenshots

1. Open the game details page.
2. Scroll to Screenshots.
3. Tap a screenshot to open it larger.
4. Tap outside the image to close it.
5. Use the left or right arrows if available.

Delete Screenshots

1. Open the game details page.
2. Scroll to Screenshots.
3. Tap the pencil icon.
4. Tap each screenshot you want to select.
5. Tap Delete.
6. Tap Cancel if you want to exit without deleting.

Add Cheats Manually

1. Start the game.
2. Open the in-game menu.
3. Tap Cheats.
4. Tap Add cheat.
5. Enter a Description and Code.
6. Tap Add Cheat.

Upload a Cheat File

1. Start the game.
2. Open Cheats.
3. Tap Upload .cht file.
4. Choose a .cht file from your phone.

Turn Cheats On or Off

1. Open Cheats.
2. Use the switch beside a cheat to turn it on or off.
3. Return to the game.

Delete a Cheat

1. Open Cheats.
2. Find the cheat you no longer want.
3. Tap the delete option.
4. Confirm if Rebit asks.

Only use cheats when you want to change the normal game experience. Some cheats may make a game unstable.
