Settings

Settings control your profile, appearance, connected services, emulation choices, storage, and local ROM cache.

Open Settings

  1. Tap Profile.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap a settings section.

Profile Settings

Use Profile settings to update your display name and username.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Profile.
  3. Edit Display Name or Username.
  4. Tap Save Changes.

Appearance Settings

Use Appearance to choose between light and dark mode.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Appearance.
  3. Tap Dark or Light.

Integrations

Use Integrations to connect outside services.

Connect RetroAchievements

RetroAchievements lets you earn and track achievements while playing supported games.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Integrations.
  3. Turn on Enable RetroAchievements.
  4. Enter your RetroAchievements Username.
  5. Enter your RetroAchievements Password or Web API key, depending on your account setup.
  6. Tap Verify Credentials.
  7. Optional: turn on Encore Mode if you want unlock notifications even for achievements you already earned.

Connect RomM

RomM lets you import games from your own RomM server.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Integrations.
  3. Scroll to Romm.
  4. Enter your Server URL.
  5. In Sign in (OAuth2), enter your RomM username and password.
  6. Tap Connect & Save Tokens.
  7. Tap Check Connection if available on your screen.

Emulation Settings

Use Emulation to choose the default core for each console. A core is the engine Rebit uses to run a game.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Emulation.
  3. Find the console you want.
  4. Tap the core selector.
  5. Pick a core.

Storage Settings

Use Storage to see how much account storage you are using.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Storage.
  3. Review your usage bar.
  4. Check the breakdown for ROM files, Save states, and Screenshots.
  5. If you are over the limit, delete files or upgrade if available.

ROM Cache Settings

ROM cache is local storage in this phone’s browser. It can help games load faster after you have opened them once.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap ROM Cache.
  3. Tap Refresh to update the list.
  4. Tap the trash icon beside one cached ROM to remove it.
  5. Tap Clear All to clear every cached ROM from this browser.

In-Game Settings

The play screen has its own settings drawer.

  1. Start a game.
  2. Tap the in-game menu button.
  3. Use Saves, Controls, Cores, Shaders, Theme, or Audio.

Change the Current Game Core

Changing a core restarts the game. Save first.

  1. Start a game.
  2. Open the in-game menu.
  3. Tap Cores.
  4. Tap the Core selector.
  5. Pick a different core.
  6. Confirm the change.
